One of the few Christmas flicks universally loved by all, Love Actually is chock full of inspiring design choices. Prominent London architectural monuments such as the Millennium Bridge and Somerset House in Strand feature alongside a plethora of contemporary and classic interior styles.

The French cottage, where Colin Firth’s Jamie falls in love with Aurelia while trying to write his new novel, has a rustic country feel complemented by old timber furnishings. Meanwhile, love is brewing at 10 Downing Street where Hugh Grant’s PM David lives in an elegantly decorated mid-century space that is quintessentially English.

In contrast, a modern interior sets the home of Liam Neeson’s Daniel and stepson Sam with a monochrome palette and clean lines.

Whatever their interior style, one emotion that connects them all is… love.
