Fun fact#1: there’s a town called Happy Valley in every state of Australia. Fun fact #2: in one of these states, it’s also the name of one of the coolest darn book stores we’ve ever seen. Curated by owner, Chris Crouch, Happy Valley is bringing back books in a major way, because as far as interiors go, there’s nothing better than being surrounded by wall-to-wall bookshelves, with cute ornaments, of course.
In Happy Valley, Chris has decked out the shelves with carefully selected books, refreshing and eclectic gifts from both local Melbourne and global artists, and a few vinyl collections for good measure. More than just your average bookstore, Happy Valley brings a sense of nostalgia and vintage cool, and is a place worthy of spending an entire afternoon in.
